Corpach Marina - Community project

This project valued at around £3.3m started on site in June 2020. Our client is a community regeneration company. The works included marine and civil engineering works to construct a new car park and slipway, building works to provide a new marina facility including café and visitor centre, and the installation of breakwaters and pontoons to provide 45 berths.

It all starts with an idea

Corpach Marina

We have advised the client throughout on matters such as planning, building warrant, procurement, and construction management, and have been responsible for securing planning permission, marine licences, utilities connections and various other consents and approvals.

The works are within an area designated as a Scheduled Monument and adjacent to Listed Buildings and are in an area of high flood risk, all challenges which we have overcome.  There were various restrictions on grant funding and deadlines to submit claims, all of which have been achieved, and we worked hard to mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.  The project remained on track within the original budget.
