After 10 years of NLC, it was time for a fresh new look!

Over the last few months, we have worked with the fantastic Scott Muirhead on ensuring the new branding reflects the ethos and future direction of Northern Light Consulting. We are so excited to share some of the fantastic designs and website content over the next few weeks.

Whilst we have been busy working on the new branding and new design there have been lots of exciting projects and goings-on’s happening at Northern Light. We cant to share more about our exciting projects over the next few months!

There has been great progress recently with our client MOWI with NLC delivering Project Management on the Blar Mhor Processing plant upgrade. Read more about this project here.

Recently our client Scottish Sea Farms took delivery of the first batch of green eggs at their new £2m Incubation Unit at Barcaldine. Read more about this exciting milestone here.

Earlier this year, Linked In released their Most In-Demand Skills for 2024, it is clear to see that most of the trends are centred around adaptability.

Adaptability is a key cornerstone of the Northern Light ethos and our adaptability and flexibility is often a characteristic that our clients require.

The article notes that “As teams and workflows grow more complex, people leaders and project leaders who can keep everything organized and everyone on the same page are in high demand.” – we couldn’t agree more 😉 Read more here.

Earlier this month we joined our client West highland Museum at the Lochaber Chamber of Commerce’s monthly networking lunch. Here they showcased their exciting redevelopment plans with the local business community. The museum, situated in Cameron Square, is a treasure trove of curiosities and only ask for donations. We recommend a visit!

This week seen us complete another round of applications for the Scottish Governments Marine Fund, this is their flagship fund that supports projects within the marine space that relate to their Blue Economy vision. We cant wait to see what exciting projects receive funding in this round!

On the 14th & 15th May – we are looking forward to exciting at Aquaculture UK 2024 in Aviemore. We will be on stand F8 – showing of our exciting new brand ! – We cant wait to see all our industries friends and colleagues there 😊
