Collaboration is key!

We have been delighted to work with Innovation Norway and our colleagues at the West Highland Chamber of Commerce to organise a relevant and exciting programme of events for our Norwegian network.

This week, seen a delegation from Innovation Norway visit for sessions in both Fort William and Oban. These events brought together leading experts from Scotland and Norway to share insights on key developments and identify areas for partnership and growth. There was an opportunity for Innovation Norway selected companies to showcase their services and innovation including;

  • Aquafarm Equipment: Pioneers in sustainable fish farming systems

  • Greenfox Marine: Innovative AI-based fish sorting solutions.

  • Meox: Advanced net-cleaning robots and dead fish collectors.

  • JM Robotics: Cost-effective ROV systems for underwater inspections.

  • Promek: Durable and customisable aluminium workboats.

  • Voatec: Patented fish handling and lice management tools.

The sessions were all received well with speaking sessions sparking interesting and fruitful conversations. These sessions were led by Scottish industry experts including;

  • Jørgen Vatn, International Growth Manager Aquaculture, DNV

  • Anne Anderson, Head of Sustainability & Development, SSF

  • Dougie Hunter, Technical Director Mowi Scotland & Managing Director at Ocean Matters
